Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of boat will I be chartering?
It’s a 21 foot Parker with a hardtop and a live bait well. It’s equipped with all the necessary gear and accommodates up to 6 persons including the Captain. The benefit of being on a small fishing boat is the ability to focus and do your own thing and get one-on-one attention from your Captain.

What should I wear?
Light clothing. Shorts and a tee shirt or a light long-sleeved shirt will keep you cool under the Florida sun.

What should I bring?
We recommend that our customers bring snacks, lunch, and drinks in a soft pack cooler. Alcohol is permitted but we ask that you consume responsibly. Additionally, sunscreen, an extra tee shirt, sunglasses, and a beach or hand towel could come in handy. As an added precaution we ask you to bring plastic cups.

What is provided?
All the necessary licensing, rods, reels, live bait, and ice. For your convenience, our Captain will also filet your fish to perfection and package it in plastic zip lock bags.

How much do I tip the Captain?
The industry standard is 20%. Our Captain Ron is a dedicated “hands-on” fisherman. He loves what he does and will go the extra mile to make sure your trip is a success. From the moment you meet him until the end of your trip, our Captain Ron builds a wonderful camaraderie that you will always remember. Please feel free to extend your kindness by giving him a well-deserved tip. He looks forward to seeing you again and will certainly appreciate what you give him.
